About us
At IMU, we believe the immune system is among the body’s most important and least understood biological systems, shaping all aspects of health and disease.
But, our understanding of its role has been obscured by tools that are fragmented, mechanistic and low-resolution, preventing the delivery of actionable immune insights and creating a major barrier to R&D and clinical deployment. IMU was founded to change that.
We’re a team of leading immunologists, computational biologists, and company builders pioneering a paradigm shift in our understanding of the immune system, moving from a simplistic, fragmented view to a comprehensive ‘high definition’ system.
Built on decades of research from King’s College London and the Francis Crick Institute, our platform analyses the immune system at unprecedented resolution and scale.
We measure over 100M datapoints from a single blood sample, across hundreds of thousands of patients and individuals.
It’s the defining moment that the immune system moves from a blurry analogue picture into pixel perfect clarity - we call this HD Immunology.
This is transforming our understanding of the immune system and enabling IMU to uncover new immune mechanisms and deliver precision approaches for diagnosing, monitoring and treating disease.
