Victoria is a US attorney and registered patent attorney bringing to IMU more than 25 years of international experience advising on global intellectual property strategy and complex commercial matters. Victoria began her career as a scientist earning her doctorate working in gene therapy at the National Institutes of Health before training in private practice to obtain her juris doctorate and US practice admissions. After working in the US and Belgium, Victoria has spent the last ten years in the UK working with small and medium biotech companies navigate transitioning from preclinical to the clinical stage, with an emphasis on strategic legal guidance and building robust IP portfolios to enable the next stages of organisational development.
